Ch. Aesir The Sky God
A star inside the ring and out!
Outside the ring he was a much loved family pet, inside he was a true show man! He simply loved the showring... the attention... the treats!
Perhaps the most successful Bull Terrier on the island to date. He came to us with high hopes for the show ring, and we had high expectations for him. He was shown for 4 years and he certainly didn't disappoint us. Bud, was Top Terrier for the 4 years he was shown, won countless Best of Breeds and Terrier Groups. Among his wins are also 2 R. Best Puppy in Shows and 3 R. Best in Shows.
He wasn't the easiest dog to train. As a puppy, I'd give him a look and he'd know exactly what I wanted from him. Of course, whether he'd do it or not was a completely different matter. I persisted with his training and within a few months we had developed a connection inside the ring very few people have with their dogs.
Sadly Bud, crossed over to Rainbow bridge on the 5th March 2010. He is sadly missed by all those who knew him but most of all his family and owners Ray, Gill, Leeandra & Rowena. A brain tumor took him away from us at the age of nearly 7 years, way too soon.
We miss you Bud, we miss the white bull terrier walking on the seafront with 'Dad', we miss the plastic bottles you used to bring home with you after every walk, your powerful side and your gentle side. You were a star inside the ring and out, since the day you were born until the day you passed away. That star now shines in the sky at night and it is the brightest one of them all. I miss you Bud, we all do.
